Good Morning
by Ankita Panda

Each day starts with a 'Good morning',
One gets up with the shrill alarm ringing.
When the world is fast asleep,
The clouds make way for the sun to peep.
The cold breeze from the window,
Made me look at the chirping sparrow.
The blue and red sky looked fascinating and beautiful,
Making the peaceful looking world wonderful.
The tiny fresh grass looked as green as a parrot,
A baby rabbit in the garden was eating a juicy carrot.
The overnight dewdrops made everything look bright and shining,
As if the fountain had fresh water sprinkling.
Welcome the new morning with a good thought,
Thinking of the new things which it has brought!
