Daffodil Babies
by Aryan Java Williams

Once I planted some daffodils bulbs
In my garden and
In spring they grew into
Beautiful pink flowers,
For many weeks they stayed
Smiling in the sun and
Swaying in the wind.

Today they are one year old
But gradually they will become
Ten years, twenty years, thirty years,
And even hundred years old,
But they will never forget me and
Next year they will come back again.
Because they are my babies.
