Once Lomdi the fox was roaming around in the jungle searching for food. He searched for long and finally saw a grape vine. The grapes looked so delicious that his mouth watered. The grapes were big, sweet and juicy. He wanted to eat them. So started to jump up to reach the grapes. He jumped higher and higher, but he could not even touch the grapes. He did not want to give up and did not want to call the grapes ‘sour grapes’. He decided to call his friends for help. Then they could stand on the top of each other’s shoulder and pluck the grapes. So he went to his friends and said, “ Could you please help me pluck some sweet grapes from a vine? I will share with you and we all will have a feast.” All the foxes agreed and went running to the orchard. They stood under grape vine. They started to climb up on each other’s shoulders. Soon there were six foxes all stacked on top of each other. The sixth one was Lomdi herself. She jumped and got the grapes easily and shared with all of them. They all had a good feast.
