Once upon a time there was a forest. In which all animals lived together. There was horse whose name was Chetak. He had the will power or you can say magic power that he can change into any living being accept human. His voice was so heavy, when he shouted the whole forest became very afraid even the lion king too.
One day the animals held a party in which everyone joined in. They were all enjoying so much but suddenly that horse Chetak came and started singing and dancing and after a minute because of his magic powers he changed into a lion. All animals were afraid. They left the forest forever.
Later a man came in the forest he has something on his shoulder. Then he saw a lion Chetak sitting alone. The man was just smiling… smiling on seeing him. The lion became angry because he thought that the man was laughing at him. The lion began to shout then after a minute he changed into a deer. But the man was still smiling.
Chetak asked the man, “Why are you smiling? Are you not afraid of me?” Then Chetak started crying and said ”I don t want this magic power. Because of it all my relatives and friends left me her and went away. So, please go from here and leave me alone. Otherwise my magic powers may harm you.”
Listening to all these the man said,” I have also magic powers but I use it for helping everyone. Why don’t you change yourself into a man and serve others using your magic powers.”
The deer said, ”No, I can’t change my self into a man,”
”But why not?” asked the man.
The deer told his sad story to the man that many years ago he was a horse named Chetak and he was always angry. He then went to the river and drank the water. The river was shinning but he drunk that water and changed into a lion. After some time there was a deep voice from inside the river which said, “ You can changed yourself in any thing expect human.”
The man said that it was very difficult to live without changing yourself. After thinking for sometime the man said to cut a banana leaf and eat it. The deer did so and he changed into a man. Thus now Chetak was a man.
This story is told by the man who helped Chetak. He is telling this story to his son. An old man also heard it and smiled. The child asked his father that you know father that today is Father’s day but you gave the wonderful gift that I can’t forget. I love you father. Then he asked his father that “ Is Chetak living now with his powers?” The father said,” Beta, I don’t know.” Then the father and son went to their work and celebrated father’s day with lots and lots of love.
