The Foolishness of Ramu
by Ruchika Gupta

Once upon a time there were two horses. One was white and one was black. The white horse was named Ramu and the black horse name was Liza.

One day Ramu and Liza were singing a song. Ramu said “my voice is better” and Liza said “my voice is better” .They started fighting, after some time they saw two cats. One cat name was Rashi and another cat name was Tina. Ramu said to Tina and Rashi “Please tell me, whose voice is better. “ But both cats could not understand. Then Tina said, ”I have one idea there is one competition in the next jungle you can participate in it ”.

Next day they both went into that jungle for participating in the competition. Both Ramu and Liza passed in the audition. The judges of competition were cheetah and deer. The cheetah’s name was Carrot and deer’s name was Gobhi.

Later Ramu was eliminated from the competition . Then Liza thought I would now became the winner of this competition. But he was wrong. Liza also got eliminated from the competition. Both Ramu and Liza went around the jungle. Ramu was very sad because he couldn’t win the competition. That night they both stayed in the same jungle.

When Liza was sleeping Ramu killed the owl and ran from the jungle. The footprints were of the horse and then everybody said that Liza killed the owl. The inspector was an elephant he arrested Liza. Next night Ramu came and killed the rabbit. The inspector thought it was Liza. Now he gave Liza two years punishment .

While walking, Ramu met a man named Bansi Lal he was carrying a bag. The bag was very heavy. Bansi Lal was going to his house. Ramu followed Bansi Lal. At home, Bansi Lal opened the bag. Ramu saw that there were lots of gold coins in the potli. When Ramu was sleeping he thought that he would steal coins.

After he would get the coins he would go to the market and take a powder and he would put the powder in his mouth and his voice would be superhit like Alka Yagnik and Gobhi the deer . After he had become a successful singer he would buy the things that he needed. He would then go to the inspector and give him money to give ten years punishment to Liza.
But suddenly he opened his eyes and he saw that it was a dream. When he went to Bansi Lal’s house he saw that Bansi Lal was not there. He saw a board on which it was written Bansi Lal shifted to Mathura.

Ramu thought it would be foolish to go to Mathura? It is too far from here. Then next day Ramu was on the way he saw a Brahman. Ramu asked the Brahman “Can you tell me my future?”

The Brahman said you will be arrested by an elephant in future. Ramu said what rubbish you are saying? He then went on the way and he reached Ram Nagar there he saw a boy giving a box to a man. Ramu then asked from the boy what are you giving to this man and why? The boy said today it is the birthday of this man and I am giving 100 coins to this man. Ramu thought of stealing the coins but the Brahman called the inspector and told the truth. Then inspector left Liza and caught Ramu and prisoned him for 10 years.
