How Jack Changed
by Ayushi Sharma

Once upon a time there was a horse named Jack. He kept shouting at the animals bring me this and that. So everyone was afraid of him. He didn’t let anyone eat anything and all the animals were weak and hungry. No one liked staying with him. But they had to because when he saw anyone going out of the forest, he caught them and punished them.

There lived more animals named the Chinku elephant Seema fox etc. But though they cried for food they never got food. So they went to the tiger and he said let us run away from this jungle. In the morning when Jack woke up he saw that no one was in the jungle, so he cried.

One day one man came to the jungle and saw many animals and exotic flowers. He liked the jungle. He saw one boy crying because he was hungry and he gave him rice. Seeing this kind gesture and the fact that all the animals had left the jungle the horse too changed his ways and became friendly.

When the animals learnt about the change in the horse’s behavior they started coming back. Soon the jungle was full of animals who lived happily together.
