An Island of Chocolates in the Ocean of Ice-cream
by Ritika Rupani

On an island named Sri Lanka, there lived a rabbit named Ruby. As the island was made up of chocolate it was very delicate. Ruby had three sons namely Ramy, Yamy and Tamy. They lived happily with their mother. The children had unfortunately lost their father when they were young. The island had three cities named Yamen, Johali and Ganky and the beautiful city in which they lived was Rusky. In Rusky there lived the beautiful lady named Portia. All the three children of Ruby wanted to marry Portia. So they went to the king to decide who would marry her. The king was perplexed, but he had an idea. He gave five hundred gold coins to each son and said that go anywhere you like and get some thing for Portia, whosever get hers the best gift she will marry that person and the others would be thrown in the ocean of ice-creams.

Ramy went to Yamen and roamed in search of something. In a street named Basant he saw a shop of carpets. He went inside. There were many different types of carpets. He asked the shopkeeper to bring the best carpet. The shopkeeper went inside and bought and old magical carpet which cost five hundred gold coins. Ramie was surprised to hear it from the shopkeeper. Then the shopkeeper said that this was a magical carpet. Ramy bought the magical carpet.

Meanwhile, Yamy went to Ganky. He wondered about and saw that a man was selling apples. He went ahead and asked that how much does each apple cost? The apple seller said five hundred gold coins, sir. Yamy was surprised. The apple seller again said that this is a magical apple and if someone is suffering with any disease and smells this apple the disease gets cured. Without thinking twice Yamy bought the apple.

Tamy went to Johali. He also wandered about and went to a shop of spy glasses. There were many different types of glasses but Tamy asked the salesman to bring the best among them all. Then the salesman bought a rusted brown colored glass and said this will cost you five hundred gold coins. Tamy was surprised to listen to the rate. Why does it cost so much? He asked. Then the salesman said that this is the magical spyglass and you can see anyone you wish to at any time from any place. Tamy bought the spyglass and came back.

The brothers met each other and showed their things. Tamny looked at Portia with his spy glass. He saw that she was ill and was lying on the bed. They soon sat on Ramy's carpet and reach the kingdom. Yamy soon went and put the apple in front of Portia's nose. The king asked Ramy, will you give your carpet to Portia? Ramy said, no sir, she shall disappear in my absence. So the king asked Yamy that will you give your spy glass to her. He said, no majesty, I will have to keep a watch on her from my work place. So the king asked Tamy, will you give your magical apple to Portia? He said, ofcourse sir. So finally Portia married Tamy and then the other two brothers were thrown into the ocean of ice-cream. But Tamy and Portia happily visited the island of chocolates and ocean of ice-creams.
