A Letter On Rains...
by Ananya S Guha

It is raining, and somehow
walking between rain drops
is not easy
and  then I run
little queasy though
no umbrella
only rain a cover
getting just that wet is fun
and then I run
when the rain gets heavy
weighty, mighty and thunder
roars.

What do you do then
is the umbrella your only hope
Nope?
or do you take shelter in buildings
houses and railings?
Can you walk between drops ?
so that it is an exercise in sheer delight
and might?

With the rain just prattling endlessly?
