The Toothless Boy
by Yastika Guru

He bid adieu to his teeth
when he toppled over a boys smelly feet.
His biting tools are gone forever,
his will for food, though, will go never ever.
This is the story of my friend
and how he fell...
A picture of innocence,
quiet and studious.
He loved playing with friends,
he asked politely whenever curious.
But as this friend was being chased one day
(no hard feelings, it was all in a game)
A boy was standing there
(he had extra large feet)
He tripped and fell flat on his face,
yet his mind was still in haste.
But no!He had to run!
if the denner would catch him it, would be no fun!
He got up and he scrambled,
he was in a daze, his brain was bamboozled.
The wall looked welcoming,
it would give him a warm hug.
Bells started ringing,
he crashed into the wall!
'Finally!',cried his teeth,
and they jumped right out his mouth!
And the best thing he could say was,
'I guess I'm outh*!'.

*Outh as in out of the game!
