Poems.
This Summer...
by Ananya S Guha

Summer is appearing
wistfully slowly
as I wait for rains fearfully
Summer is clambering up slopes
and plains
we await patiently the rains
Yet summer makes me wistful
and sometimes forgetful
of what winter is, was
and has.

This summer I will pick up the
rain drops amidst humidity
and play my jaunty jallopy

This summer I will remember
the meandering river
the giver of  misfortune
yet a lover.
