Friendship is very important in life. When I was in school I shared a special relationship with many of my friends.
I still remember when I was in class 8, I had to undergo four operations. All my friends had come to meet me after our first term got over and it was wonderful surprise for me. I was very happy to meet them. All my friends helped me out with my notes and studies.
I also have one more interesting memory. In school we used to enquire from the peon about the teachers who were absent that day to enjoy the free periods as that was the best time to have fun in class. We used to post someone at the door to keep a watch if any other teacher or principal was coming to our class?
We used to play games, scream a lot and all the boys used to run from one place to another place and our whole class used to be in a state of chaos. Hearing the noise our principal maam used to come to our class to investigate. The moment she used to enter the class, she used to see us all sitting peacefully and doing our work as our ‘watchman’ posted at the door used to warn us in advance.
Once I was made monitor of our class. Our geography teacher had gone to meet to the principal maam. The moment she left the class the whole class started shouting. Some boys were very talkative. They were not listening to me so I decided to tell their names to our geography teacher after she came back. But I could not do this because they were my friends. I did not want them to get punished.
There are many, many more memories which I will never forget about my friends. One thing I can say that our school friendship was the best and will always remain close to my heart.
