Across the vast sea of darkness
That lonely girl floats a boat of light
And keeps on looking at the sky
She knows her mother has gone to heaven
She will come back home
On the ferryboat of that light
The world is so vast
With so many people, so many paths
Countries and mountains are many
And all of them are unknown
In it's midst the corner of that small room
Where she lives with her brother all alone
Can it be seen from the heaven?
Does their mother search for them
And looses her way among the stars?
Her daughter therefore keeps this light
For her mother as a landmark
So she can come to the motherless bed
When they are in their sleep
To kiss them every night.
