Rainy Nights
by Sonali Patnaik

Just now the summer nights are changed into rainy,
The sky looks really dark and wet .
The thunder is being convulsive,
The lightening is making all stupefied .
The leaves drink novel water,
The highway become wet,
And the ponds get muddy .
The surrounding is cool now,
No need of AC or cooler somehow.
The children like to enjoy outside,
Reluctantly they come, when the mothers hold the stick.
The people suffer from cold and fever,
Hardly get fresh water.
What an enjoyable season it is,
When there is rainy night.
