Poems .
Was it a Dream?
by Jacob Thomas
The world looked so green
Under the vast blue skies
Nothing better had my eyes seen
No deceit, no hatred, no lies.

Men and women all alike
Living in a bond of love
Children playing in eternal innocence
Like a life in heaven above.

Weapons and sins were unknown
Only happiness and joy all around
Riches and poverty were undefined
All living beings rested on the ground.

Water in plenty, food in abundance
Healthy were all in body and mind
Singing in harmony the song of love
Peace was all that one could find.

Fortunate was I to witness this world
And flow in this life of eternal stream
Unfortunate was I to leave this world
To wake up and realize it was just another dream.
