Poems
Twiddle Doe
by Meghna Chowdhary

This is what happened to Twiddle Doe,
When he tried to eat a piece of his toe!
Soon, A foot grew in his tummy,
And he shrieked Help Mummy!

And very soon he couldn't even walk,
All he would do is sit and talk!

And one fine day, his mother got sad,
All of a sudden, she became mad!
So she kicked him with those powerful kicks,
And beat him up with bamboo sticks!

And out came the foot, shooting like a star,
It bounced on the floor and landed very far!

And suddenly came a man who was almost going to cry,
"My foot has broken", he said with a sigh.
And suddenly Twiddle said with glee,
Take this foot and make me free!

The mom was happy and so was the boy,
They both screamed and screamed with joy!
This Ending, I bet you all know,
Ended with a happy Twiddle Doe!
